Armour

I did some very late night sketching last night and came up with this design after playing with al.chemy software and getting some ideas. I was so tired I didn't realize I spelled armour wrong. It's currently a work in progress, but we'll see how it turns out out. Last night I realized I need/want to draw more mecha. Gotta start somewhere.

New characters

Although I haven't been as consistent with my blog posts lately, I have been very active. So active I forgot to update my blog along with all my other online profiles. These are character designs for a graphic novel pitch package that I'm currently working on, called The Prancing Pony.

Junkyard progress

Here's an update on the junk yard illustration. The linework has been cleaned up, all the colors have been layed down and textures/adjustments have been added. Just a few more nips, tucks, and tweaks left to finish off the illustration. Click on the picture for a larger version.

Junkyard

I rarely work completely digital but in this case, that's what I'm trying to do. All the linework was sketched on my tablet. Fortunately drawing in photoshop saves me the work of having to clean up m linework after it's been scanned in. No more messing with the levels and curves to get it just right. Current;y working on the coloring and adding some more backkground elements to bring this one to a finished level.
